ENRICH in Brazil – European Exhibition Showcase @ANPEI Conference 

On 16th August, the ENRICH in Brazil’ European Exhibition Showcase Session has taken place with representatives from EU countries and projects.

Place/date: Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul  (Expogramado RS Av. Borges de Medeiros, 4111 – Centro CEP: 95670-000 • Gramado – RS) The 16^th of August from 15:30 to 17:00.

Topic of the congress: “New methods of value creation”

Within the activities of the ENRICH in Brazil centre it was organised a special session on the 16^th of August in the afternoon, from 15:30 to 17:00, in the congress of ANPEI with the participation of European organisations who have a special interest in Brazil.

The session had a duration of one and a half hours. The topic of the Congress this year was new methods of value creation. Therefore, the session was intended to show new methods of value creation in Europe, to address the challenges and opportunities that may arise and to establish a European-Brazilian network of experts on this topic

The session was divided into three sections:

1. EU-BR R&I COOPERATION: Funding opportunities, HORIZON 2020 and presentation of Best Practices

In order to provide the highest visibility to the participants of the exhibition showcase, the participants brought promotional material that was distributed in the ‘ENRICH in Brazil’ stand.

BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING IN THE EXHIBITION SHOWCASE

As well as being able to participate in the wider framework of the ANPEI congress and benefit from a rich offering of sessions and opportunities to interact, this ENRICH Exhibition Showcase offers:

VISIBILITY: We think it was a great opportunity for EU-BR projects to provide an overview of their current activities, and what has been achieved to date. It is also an opportunity to highlight plans and any potential business and collaboration opportunities. This can lead to collaboration and other EU-BR cooperation actions in the future.

NETWORKING: During this special session, organisations had the opportunity to meet likeminded colleagues from both Brazil and Europe and learn about new methods or approaches, as well as sharing experience and knowledge. This will foster a new and growing network of experts.

A consolidated view of new methods of value creation and further knowledge on what is being carried out in Brazil and Europe. Having learnt more about the ongoing cooperation projects, this will be followed up with increased interaction in the future, thus supporting sustainability actions for all involved, as well as progressing the opportunities and flow of knowledge between EU-BR participants.
